
Kathmandu. Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has commented that the rumors that the party will split are completely baseless. Prachanda said this in a brief conversation with the media while leaving the party headquarters Parisdanda.
Prachanda said, ‘The rumor that the Maoist party will split is completely baseless. There were a lot of rumors and propaganda that the party would break up, and in some cases there were suspicions and confusion. But when it comes to this meeting, those suspicions and illusions are shattered. Especially if Prabhakar splits the party, it is completely wrong. Our party is united and the suspicions against Comrade Prabhakar are wrong.
Leader Leelamani Pokharel informed that Prachanda had briefed that no leader had the intention of dividing the party in the meeting. In the meeting, Prachanda said that the leaders spoke confidently about what they thought, and said that he was confident that the party would be united. The president spoke boldly to the party. It is said that such issues make the party strong and united. But he says that under no circumstances will the party be divided and united.
UML lost its power because it did not understand its ‘move’
President Prachanda has said that he lost power because he did not understand the position of CPN-UML. Responding to the questions raised by the members in the party’s standing committee meeting on Thursday, Prachanda expressed his complaint that he had to leave the government because he did not understand the UML’s position even though he did a good job.
Leader Pokharel informed that the meeting decided to hold a consultation meeting of the central level members, advisers, officials of all the provinces in all the seven provinces. The Maoist Standing Committee meeting will continue till August 5. Meetings will be held at the rate of two days in each province.
