Ward president of Melung 4 Som Bahadur Bamjan said that the girl came in contact after hearing the news of her death.
He said, ‘The sister who is said to have died is married in Chitwan. The family has contacted saying that he is still alive. His brother has given false information to the police office.
Chief District Officer of Bhaktapur Roshni Kumari Shrestha said that they were given wrong information and there was no way to identify the deceased from the body. According to him, the police are trying to identify the deceased.
It has been found that the blue book of the scooter in the accident is in the name of Uttam Silwal of Okhaldhunga. Similarly, a ticket cut by the traffic in the name of Ramesh Neupane was also found at the accident site.
SSP Dineshraj Mainali, Spokesperson of the Valley Police Office, also said that efforts were being made to identify the deceased after receiving information that the person who had been identified earlier was not.
