A 35-year-old pedestrian and a motorcyclist died in the accident. Deputy Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Chand informed that the identity of the deceased pedestrian is yet to be ascertained. 29-year-old Mandeep Meche and 25-year-old Sagar Meche of Mechinagar 9 who were riding the motorcycle were injured when the speeding motorcycle went out of control and overturned.
Among the injured, Sagar Meche and a young pedestrian died during treatment at B&C Hospital in Birtamod on Wednesday afternoon. Another injured man, Mandip Meche, is being treated at B&C Hospital, Deputy Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Chand informed.
