Jhapa. The number of people taking passports from the district administration office has increased dramatically. In the financial year 2080/81, 25,455 people got passports and 18,822 people got citizenship.
Last year, Rs 14 crore 73 lakh 67 thousand 700 was deposited in the state fund for passports. The district administration office has collected Rs 153 million 39 thousand 444 from passport and other services. Meanwhile, the said office said that the current and capital expenditure was Rs. 3 crore 86 lakh 16 thousand 457.
