
Sunsari / Barahkshetra Municipality of Sunsari has continued the Clean Barahkshetra campaign. As part of the campaign, cleanliness has been started in Barahkshetra main square, monastery, Dharamshala, health post, school and public areas.
City chief Ramesh Karki said that since the Barahkshetra temple in Barahkshetra Chatradham has a lot of movement of devotees, attention has been paid to the cleanliness of the temple area. Economic Development Coordinator Tek Bahadur Gurung said that the support and cooperation of all city residents is necessary in the campaign. He said, “Everyone should work hard to make our Barah area a good Barah area.” ”
Due to the recent increase in the incidence of dengue during the campaign, the municipality has started cleaning the streets and destroying the larvae of dengue and managing the garbage in front of their houses.
Also, the municipality has been requesting all the residents of the city not to allow water to accumulate in the pits where water accumulates. Local residents, local public representatives, intellectuals, leaders of political parties, local associations, Nepal Police and City Police are participating in the campaign.
